Spot-ontv  are part of the E Watson & Sons family. The Watson family have traded on the same site in Newbiggin by the sea, Northumberland for over 120 years now. It all started in 1886 when Emerson Watson turned his house into a shop selling and started selling everything from parafin to pots and pans,  bicycles to nuts and bolts,  Then in the 1940's Emerson's son Tommy carried the business on and still to this day our local customers refer to our shop as "Tommy Watson's". In the Queens coronation year of 1953 the TV set had just arrived and were one of the first in the north east to start selling a Bush 9" set for 53 Guineas, we still have one of the first TV's in our showroom as a fantastic ornimental peice. From the Miners strike's in the 80's to the various recessions E Watson & sons have always been part of and supported the community of Newbiggin by the sea, we are active and very proud fund raisers for the Newbiggin RNLI station and various local charities

Things have dramatically changed since then and to add to our shop in 2004 we Started Spot-ontv.co.uk our new online store offering all the same TV's, DVD's and white goods but also adding to our portfolio TV Stands and Furniture. We now sell everything from Washing machines to Novolty hand chairs all across the UK which come direct from our own on site warehouse. We source Quality furniture from all across the globe. We take extra care to ensure a smooth online experience, because we carry most items in stock we know which is the safest way to ship your item to your home or work, Most items are checked and further packaging is added to ensure safe delivery, Hence if you scour the internet you may indeed find another website which is a few pounds cheaper but we are confident you cannot find our level of service at any other site. We are commited to only selling products we have knowledge of, we try our best to only include items on our website that can be sourced within the most a few weeks, we are a small family firm dedicated to giving you the quality product and service you deserve. we are "The family that delivers"

One thing we don't do is go on about how big we are and our massive call centres waiting for your call as normally you end up doing all the waiting. So if you require an unpersonal non caring service which may be a few pounds cheaper then perhaps we arn't for you but if you do want the knowledge of a helpful and caring family team then you really don't need to look anywhere else.

We are also members of RETRA (Radio, Electrical and Televsion Retailers Association), which means we abide by the RETRA code of conduct. At Spot-ontv we said no to 0870 so you can be safe in the knowledge we will not be charging you rip off prices for contacting us, all it costs is a standard call rate of 5.5p per minute.
